Learning About First Aid

STANDARD FIRST AID & CPR is required by WS&IB for companies with more than 5 employees. At least one employee, who is certified, should be on duty and easily accessible at all times. If your workplace has multiple areas, or floors, you need to have several people trained.

FAA has partnered with the Canadian Red Cross to deliver comprehensive courses offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.

Our training includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Our programs meet federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for First Aid and CPR.  The Canadian Red Cross exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.
